Free Google AdWords, is it a Dream?
Google uses an online advertising product called Google Adwords. They appear at the top and right hand side of the page when you search using Google’s search engine. The ads are written based on keywords. Keywords are terms advertisers use to trigger ads on Google. The more relevant your keywords are the more impressions or clicks your ad generates. If you have relevant key words it is almost like getting free Adwords.
It is possible for advertisers using Adwords to spend $5.00 on 3 lines of text and reach 100 million customers in a very short time. However it is more likely that same advertiser will get penalized for a keyword and charged $2.00-5.00 a click and what started as an inexpensive instant connection to millions of customers is now a costly mistake because of a failure to understand the system. Google charges advertisers based on the number of clicks a sight generates in a pay per click system. Your account can also be charged once every 1000 times your ad appears on the Google network. This is called an impression. A quality score is calculated based on your click through rate. Your click through rate is calculated based on your clicks divided by your impressions to get a clickthrough rate. Your quality score is based on your clickthrough rate and your adwords relevance. Google establishes an account and only charges your account based on clicks and your rate is determined by the relevance of your adwords and is based on the type of campaign you set up with Google.
So why would Google offer free adwords or issue promotional codes to generate willing advertisers? They wouldn’t. Google doesn’t need to. Google bets that the average company does not fully understand the pricing of Adwords. Google uses a reward system to advertisers. The more clicks or impressions your ad generates the lower your cost per click rate is. The trick is to use Google adwords Help so your ads rank high on the Google search page. Finding keywords that will boost your position on a Google search page is challenging. There are many individuals on the web who offer free Google adwords. A search on free adwords generates a list of sites that promise answers to all of the Google Adwords secrets. Clearly the odds of the Adwords pricing system are in Google’s favor. If it were not so then we would not see the number of on line entrepreneurs setting up business with the sole purpose of maximizing advertising dollars from Adwords. Google does not need to offer anything free - Adwords or promotional codes.
